It's been an honor to serve as your St. Pete Beach District 1 Commissioner for the last two years. I've learned and grown in the role of a City Commissioner. Because of that, the amount we've accomplished is both motivating and inspiring. I want to continue to grow and positively impact our community. I've been incredibly encouraged by the unity and shared values we've been able to create as a team. I'm humbled to work alongside such a talented and selfless City Staff and fellow Commissioners, and it's because we've established the common understanding that serves our community, we've been able to focus on areas that matter to our residents, such as the Paddleboard Kiosk and Kayak Launch project and new Playground equipment at Ron McKenney Park. At Egan Park, we've resurfaced the Tennis courts and added Pickleball lines, completely refurbished the Little League field, replaced piers so we could reopen the boat ramp, and we're working with the community to find space for new Basketball and Pickleball courts and a Soccer field. Additionally, we continue to move forward with the city's necessary infrastructure improvements.
If I'm elected to a second term, I believe there is an immense opportunity to continue enriching our residents' lives. I support the Spring and Fall Concert Series at our beautiful Horan Park, Arts and Crafts Shows on Corey Avenue, the Sunday Morning Market on Corey Avenue, and completing other meaningful projects underway, not only in District 1 but throughout the city. I'm excited about new projects on the East and West ends of Corey Avenue and new designs and improvements to Boca Ciega Drive and Gulf Winds Drive.
